Richard Sasse

Solicitor

Richard completed his schooling in Wellington, New Zealand before relocating to Dunedin, New Zealand where he undertook a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (Management) at the University of Otago. He subsequently completed his Professional Legal Studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in New Zealand before being admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of New Zealand. He then obtained dual Trans-Tasman admission to practice law in both the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia, in preparation for a relocation to Australia.

Richard’s passion for Family Law became apparent while volunteering at Community Law during his tertiary studies and working across diverse legal issues.

Richard is an enthusiastic and hardworking member of Tyler, Tipping & Woods working primarily across Family Law, Child Protection and Intervention Order matters.

Outside of work, Richard enjoys swimming, running and spending time with friends and family.
